Our welfare, our laws explains the welfare laws in British Columbia. It describes how to apply for assistance, what the recipient must do to continue receiving assistance and how to appeal a decision.

This video explains the process by following the stories of eight characters:

Mike is a laid-off worker.
Brad is an 18-year-old living on the street.
Abby is a single mom.
Amanda is a single mom who left an abusive relationship.
Ken is a person with disabilities recipient.
Stephen and Michelle are roommates accused of having a "dependent" relationship.
Gail is an older woman appealing the decision to stop her benefits.
